Here's a quick, super comfortable and convenient way to perform a deep cleansing soak. The inflatable basin is approximately 60cm x 50cm and comes with a drain pipe.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: A rolled up bath towel or yoga block under your neck will help to prop up your head and avoid putting pressure on the wall of the basin which will stop water spilling over the edge. The basin holds 10 litres of water however you need to allow for the volume which your dreadlocks will take up so adjust the amount of water you place in the basin accordingly.
Plus this purchase includes a Dread Empire Bicarb Soak! The Bicarb Soak has a bi carb, Himalayan Salt, Citric Acid and Witch Hazel base and you have the following 3 flavours to choose from:
Beach Bum ~ Coconut + Lime
Ultimate ~ Peppermint + Tea Tree + Rosemary
Zen ~ Lavender + Patchouli + Ylang Ylang
Bi carb Soak: Approx 230g.

Easy to Use and Smells Great!
I ordered the pack with the basin and bicarb soak and was pleased to see it arrive within a week of ordering (I live rurally so this was great!). I went with the Zen flavour of bicarb, and boy does it match it’s name! The smell was incredible and has clung to my dreads making me smell like a meditation master. This was my first deep cleanse, I’ve had my locks for almost 5 years and wash on a fortnightly basis, so they were quite clean, however I was still surprised at the obvious change in water colour. The basin is a little difficult to blow up, but not difficult enough for me to be dissatisfied. I used 8 litres of warm to hot water to dissolve the WHOLE packet of bicarb soak, there were no granuals or gritty bits at the bottom that wouldn’t dissolve. Then I soaked for about 15 minutes (I recommend doing this nude as I did to avoid battling with your clothes before getting in the shower), then jumped in the shower and thoroughly rinsed. The hose that came with the basin was kind of useless, but I just picked up the basin and emptied the dirty water straight into the shower. The basin is 100% reusable and I will 100% be purchasing another bicarb soak to use!! I am one very satisfied customer! I have never been disappointed with any products purchased from the Dread Empire. Peace out!
