Dread Dust 💥 LOVE tackling messy new growth with this.
1. Separate the loose hair and redefine your sections. Rather than pulling the dread apart and making the loose hair matted against your scalp - hook your finger behind it and gently prize it apart, assigning the loose new growth to which every dreadlock it should belong too.
2. With a little dust on your finger tips, put the base of your dreadlock between your finger tips and rub against the scalp in a clockwise motion. This will tease up the loose hair ready for crocheting.
3. Grab your crochet hook and pull the loose hairs into the base of the dread. If they’re long enough, you can wrap them around the base before pulling them in.
