Urgh I've got dandruff :(
Dandruff is caused by a sensitivity to the naturally occurring fungus that exist on the scalp. The fungus feeds off scalp sebum so the more frequent shampooing and the use of anti fungals is the key. Our Dandruff Combat Kit includes two Anti Dandruff Shampoos with Cedarwood, Rosemary and Tea Tree PLUS Botanical Serum which is a potent blend of nutrient rich oils which are powerfully anti fungal.
My dreads are loose and fluffy
If you're dreads have loosened up or perhaps you are new to the dreadlock journey, our locking and tightening Accelerator spray will help so much by creating an environment in which dreadlocks thrive.
The salt based formula texturises and thickens the hair to encourage locking and knotting and it's balanced with Aloe Vera and Pro Vita B to ensure the hair health is maintained. You may also need to do some re crocheting and pulling the loose hair back into the dreadlock with a crochet hook so the Tidy Locs Kit is also worth considering.
My roots are a right mess!
Tackle messy roots by starting with a clean, dry head of dreads. Press your finger tips into some Dread Dust and then place the base of a dread between your fingers. Rub the base of the dreads against the scalp in the circular motion to tease up the hair - Dread Dust will make this step so much easier. Now take a crochet hook, a pull the loose knotted hair into the dread. If it's long enough, wrap it around the base of the dread first before pulling it in. Push the hook back and forth when inside the dread to encourage locking from within.
Well, my entire head of dreads is a mess.
Assuming you have a good dread shampoo in place, get your hands on our Tidy Locs Kit. First step to tidier dreads is increasing the locking and knotting. Our Locking & Tightening Accelerator and Dread Dust is included and will get that tightening well under way. The hook can be used to capture and pull in the escaped loose hairs along the length and at the base of the dreads and the Tightening Gel will tidy it up in a flash.
