Bottle in a Bar is a syndet shampoo bar which uses the solid version of ingredients found in liquid shampoos and your hair will feel just as it would if a liquid shampoo was used. This means that unlike traditional cold pressed bars, there will be no transition period and this bar will perform perfectly in hard water. It delivers an excellent lather and will leave your dreadlocks feeling lighter, tighter and deeply cleansed. It is the perfect clarifying shampoo and can also be used on regular undreaded oily hair types. They are paper wrapped and plastic free.

So how natural are the ingredients in this bar? Syndet bar ingredients are naturally derived but require more processing than that of the ingredients in our traditional cold pressed shampoo bar range. Our traditional bars are hugely popular but work best in softer water (water which is not highly mineralised). Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (NOT SLS), Cocamidopropyl betaine, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol,Sodium Lactate, Glycerin, Fragrance, Pro Vitamin B5 (D Panthenol), Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate and the following ingredients dependent on flavour:

Citrus & Cedar (cream bar): Citrus & Cedar fragrance, Beetroot Powder

Lemongrass & Ginger (green bar): Lemongrass & Ginger fragrance, Green oxide

Cucumber & Melon (yellow bar) Cucumber & Melon fragrance, Yellow oxide

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

After wetting your dreadlocks, wet the bar and rub it between your hands to create a lather then apply the lather to your scalp and dreadlocks. You can also apply the bar directly to your dreadlocks if you prefer. It won`t take look for a full luxurious lather to form. Ensure your dreadlocks are rinsed very thoroughly. For maximum longevity, store the bar away from water and ideally sitting on a soap rack between uses.
